Bedesten Bazaar

The Bedesten Bazaar is known as one of the most important covered commercial centers of Edirne during the Ottoman period. The word "Bedesten" refers to secure trading areas where valuable goods were stored and sold. This structure played a central role in Edirne's economic life.
